Abstract
This research is a philosophical research. It is aimed to answer the question that happiness requires neutrality according to moderate postmodern philosophy. The findings showed that the pursuit of happiness with neutrality is being indicated since the ancient era until postmodern era; the ancient paradigm proposes that happiness will occur only when the mind relied on the natural law, not biased in preferring the idea of a particular school. Medieval paradigm proposes that the requisite neutral mind is to purify from the desires gain eternal happiness in the next world, however, in this world, they must be ascetic. The modern paradigm proposes that happiness can be gained by knowing the truth of facts and decisions upon the facts. Postmodern paradigm purposes to seek happiness by detachment, seeking for a point of parity and the points of difference with neutrality, acceptating the variety. The researcher purposed the pursuit of happiness with postmodern philosophy that is appropriated to the digital era, cultivating the neutral mind by 6 steps as follows: 1. Rejecting all commandments, not giving a meaning to anything including the ideas. 2. Observing the being with the soul 3. Considering what the mind finds free from decision-free. 4. Questioning the previous idea then answering with all the findings until the end of doubt. 5. Understanding and accepting that answer. 6. Comprehending the reality along the natural cycle. After following these 6 steps, the answers would come from the understanding of all nature with the neutral mind, not tuning with one’s own ideas. Being will manifest itself whereas the thinker might reject it and rely on his own thought. Therefore, the conflict occurs. The
happiness is caused by the thought, the suffering also is caused by the thought. To extinguish the suffering in this world, it is necessary to correct the thought with a neutral mind that leads to the happiness according to reality.

Introduction
We belong to the species that claims to desire happiness more than other beings. Our effort to achieve happiness leaves us more and more misy. The problem of happiness is one of the biggest practical issues in our lives. Psychology tells us that no one desires happiness, only saccharine feels of pleasure. Instead, we want fulfillment, meaning, excitement, adventure or even a range of experiences that make life interesting. Satisfying the need is
the key of present day Man, eating when hungry, drinking when thirsty, and just satisfying from time by time. But the philosophers propose that there are higher levels of happiness that mean the whole of all the instinct of human being is satisfied such as happy food, wealthy, healthy, warm family and success of work and life. However, happiness is not sustainable. Obviously, human beings have been looking for happiness the whole life such as problem of what to eat today, not just food but what delicious food, problem of what self-good looking and how to succeed in anti-aging. Many problems of life affect us unhappy times. The researcher needs to interpret by philosophical paradigms which rely on the belief on mankind from the past to the present on the pursuit of happiness in various ways. Some people seek pleasure to satisfy the needs. Some people pursue material things. Some people seek God and become hermits. Some utilize scientific method and technology to create a world without suffering. To this day, human beings still live in an ordinary day without any difference even though science has improved more. There are so many facilities but the suffering is still there. Although many religions have means to end the suffering or to achieve the happiness in the next world, or both this and next world. But the question is still standing along everyone: How to be happy according to reality and which method is to be appropriated.

Therefore, the researcher believes that there are some ways to make people happy and live common life according to reality. So, the researcher has interest in the pursuit of happiness with neutral mind according to postmodern philosophy as the answer of the human problem of happiness.

Review Literature

Edmund Husserl (1859-1938) proposed the ontology of body and mind relying on the theory of phenomenological distinctions among different ways in which we know, experience and conceive our body and minds. By the way, we could interpret the meaning according to reality too. Neutral mind made up of an emptying of mind; letting the meaning to describe the world in the word. Martin Heidegger (1889-1976) was against that emptying of the mind as difficult to do and to gain truth. Because the human beings are biased and
bias as along their own experiences. Neutral mind must be done as a normal level and understanding the phenomenon by excluding the emotion and experience: no bias and passion. We are being in the world and understanding only what the world describes it. Practicing neutral mind and observing what is discovered is being-in-itself.

Kirti Bunchua (2561, p. 13) described the concept in the philosophical paradigms from primitive, ancient, medieval, modern and postmodern, indicating that nowadays the philosophy of detachment is the center of postmodern paradigm, no absolute truth but there are truths according to each person criterion. Critical thinking is the method to understand what benefits to our quality of life and development of quality of life to gain happiness according to reality is the goal of this era.

Research Question
Does happiness require neutrality according to the postmodern philosophy?

The purpose of this study is to analyze the neutral mind by philosophical paradigms to achieve the happiness according to reality as follows:

The Primitive Paradigm believes that there is only chaos. Everything depends upon the Power above. So, the neutral mind is to conquer the mind then nothing will have the power to pull us from a happy state of existence. Not death or losing what is our own, nothing can steal our peace of mind when we understand how to direct the mind. Training the mind with meditation takes discipline and regular practice.

The Ancient Paradigm believes that there is cosmos and the world has a law of nature which humans should follows. The neutral mind is the conscious mind that intents to see the big picture of experience and concerns that we get from life through the high and low of life. Philosopher offers no judgment of others and only makes decisions by wisdom and virtues. Contemplation is their practice.

The Medieval Paradigm believes that no present world law made us happy eternally in the next world only. The body is only the combination of desires and suffering, even when trying to seek happiness in the world. it is only a pleasure. Believing in God is the answer and the pursuit of nature is the way in which a religious person must follow. Making the neutral mind is a full faith to connect to God. However, Buddha has taught to regularly ignore evil and remove the passion. Decision with no bias by any emotion and living along the middle way.

The Modern paradigm believes in the network of knowledge which comes from the scientific method and only thing that can proved is reality. Religions are ridiculous, only scientific knowledge can actually solve the world’s puzzle and will be able to create paradise for everyone on earth. The neutral mind must be derived from the pursuit of the facts. Refer to the proven process and the results of the scientific process will make a decision on the fact.

The Postmodern Paradigm may be considered in two groups: extremists will reject all and refuse without offering anything instead of the old, and the group of moderate way that tried to sustain along the golden way of detachment by principle re-read all reject none. By understanding, intellect will act to develop a quality of life and satisfy intellectual instinct. Happiness is purposed to be authentic happiness according to reality. The neutral mind is practiced to balance between positive and negative mind. Neutral mind is much less attached to outcomes and expectations. The neutral mind sees why things happen, it sees motivations and influences, and it even looks at our own reactions and motivations and analyzes them. The neutral mind is not attached to material gains, validations or insults. So, we have the most peaceful reactions and come up with the most balanced solutions for life’s turning points both big and small. Finally, the neutral mind leads us to the highest destiny.

Results and Discussion
The result of the study showed the 5 philosophical paradigms which could be criteria of the happiness and the neutral mind of each paradigm. In present day, there are all 5 paradigms living together and trying to stand as paradigms. Theravada Buddhism focuses on the neutral mind in the sense of soul, not brain, and corresponds to the intellectual instinct described by Bunchua (2018). The thorough thinking about body-mind-soul concept will be a heart of understanding about the neutral mind and the ontology of neutrality. Neutral mind is upon the paradigm person seizing. The researcher purposed the pursuit of happiness with postmodern philosophy that is appropriated to the digital era the cultivating of neutral
mind had 6 steps as follows:

  1. Rejecting all commandments, not giving a meaning to anything including the ideas.
  2. Observing the being with the soul.
  3. Considering mind what it finds with the free decision.
  4. Questioning the previous ideas then answering with all the findings until the end of doubt.
  5. Understanding and accepting that answer.
  6. Comprehending the reality that being is along the natural cycle

After following these 6steps, it appeared that the answers came from the understanding of all nature with the neutral mind. Not tuning with own ideas or bias. Being is being-for-itself whereas man refused to understand and lied on his thought. Therefore, the conflict occurred then suffering was embedded. The Theravada Buddhism principle indicates that the happiness is caused by the thought and the suffering also caused by the thought. If man needs to distinct the suffering in this world, it is necessary to adjust the thought with a neutral mind, then being-in-itself is the happiness according to reality. The research suggests applying neutral mind with the moderate postmodern philosophy to straight forward in the development of quality of life and goal at the authentic happiness according to reality.

Suggestions

  1. Suggestions for application to the common Man
When born as a man, no matter of what country or religion, the wants to be
happy, but happiness is not equal to pleasure which comes from satisfying the wants. Happiness comes from the whole perception of intellectual practice with neutral mind. Moderate postmodern philosophy indicates that the neutral mind has to be sustained according to reality and that made people have authentic happiness according to reality. So neutral mind practice is the key to all generations for doing peace together.
  2. Suggestions for future research
On the basis of Theravada Buddhism, the researcher believes that Buddhism neutral mind is possible and powerful. Therefore, if interested the further research can hold on this issue. The researcher would like to suggest the research from other religious concepts such as
    1) A postmodern paradigm on the pursuit of happiness in Christianity,
    2) A postmodern paradigm on the pursuit of Islam’s happiness,
    3) A postmodern paradigm on the pursuit of happiness in Hinduism.
